Lilian. … LILIAN. … Why aren’t you answering?? … Ugh. It’s-It’s Kevin. Kevin Blyner. … W-Where ARE you?? I haven’t seen you all week! … Emily Richardson’s… been… been murdered. It was… gruesome to say the least. … Even weirder is that… before all this, Kane’s behavior was declining and… Since this murder happened he’s disappeared… Much like… you have. I… I can’t stay here anymore. I’m going to be dedicating my full studies to a research facility in… what city is it? Station… Square? Y-Yeah, yeah. Station Square. I don’t know if… we’ll ever talk again, but if we do… Uh… You still have my number right? … Well, in case you don’t… I don’t care either way. It’s time I used my skills in another business. And to get far away from this place as quickly as possible. I hope one day we will meet again. And if you hear anything about Kane… Let me know. If you want to of course. Goodbye… Lilian.

Kane gazes upon the Source inside the canister in the storage room… It seems to be connected to some large tubes which were pouring great quantities of Pink Craze into most of G.U.N’s robots…

Some soldiers rush in and point their guns at Kane.

Kane: … Here to spoil my fun? Already?

Soldier 1: We see through your eyes, you sick bastard! You claimed you were going to destroy the Pink Craze!

Kane: … Do you honestly think it can be stopped? Nothing can stop this miraculous wonder of science. My plans to purge the world’s problems and utter nonsense must be fulfilled.

???: You’re plans… are just as twisted as your mind…

Kane: ???

He witnesses the Commander, barely alive, being held up by another soldier… However, his eyes were blindfolded from the impact of the bullet costing him his sight…

Kane: Huh. I didn’t think you’d have the guts to withstand such force.

Commander: You lied to us… You lied to this entire facility… And for what reason?! To destroy what matters in this world?!

Kane: It’s all for the wonders of science… And the good of this world, Commander. People are nothing but scum and are tarnishing the beauties of this world… And if something wants to be done to stop the suffering… You need to take action.

Commander: We… We won’t idle by and let you win this… You will pay for everything you’ve done…

Kane: (He smirks…) That’s what you would say… If I was a naïve idealist like yourselves.

One of G.U.N’s Laser Hunters suddenly switched on. It’s orange dilated eye turned pink as it turned to the soldiers!

Soldier 3: He’s taken over our machines! Shoot them! SHOOT THEM!!

The soldiers start firing away, but the robot retaliated by firing a laser near them, causing an explosion and knocking the soldiers to the floor.

Kane: I would stop fighting if I were you. Or else your own creations will sink this place to the bottom of the ocean.

Commander: …

Kane: Now before things get more out of hand… I need a simple request. Or else consequences will array.

Commander: … What… Request is it…?

Kane: I need a cargo ship. One large enough to hold your machines. You have those docked nearby, am I right?

Commander: …

Kane: If you don’t comply and decide to kill me on the spot. Go ahead. But you have my craze left to deal with.

Commander: Grr…

Kane: Heh. Get these machines on board. My purge for a pure world is in my sights…

Meanwhile, in the prison cells, Knuckles kept trying to punch the door open as Amy, her friends, Sonic and the others were discussing certain things…

Amy: …And that’s why I had to inject myself with the Pink Craze… I only did it so they couldn’t get it… It felt horrible… Like I was peeling away inside…

Cream: Amy…

Rouge: Well now we all know that this crazy pink stuff was made by some nutjob and not our boss.

Sonic: I guess that’s a relief…

Lilian: (She was in fetal position against the wall…) … … … That “nutjob…” Was my student…

The group: ???

Lilian: Back when I was a teacher at Royalton Academy… He was in my class. He was always forgetful. Like me in a way.

Tails: You… knew him?

Lilian: Yes… He was always… studying. Wishing to help this world by being a… doctor I think? I dunno… … That’s what got him into trouble.

Knuckles: Trouble?

Lilian: He wanted to make medicine based on my father’s creation. The Dragon Elixir. It’s rare. Let’s say that. He wanted to make medicine of his own and he experimented it with… LSD.

Tails: LSD??

Rouge: So that explains why the Pink Craze causes weird hallucinations. Inside or outside the body.

Lilian: Ever since he did it… He began to decline… He didn’t show up to my classes for weeks… And then… one night… I saw it happen…

Flashback… Lilian was witnessing Emily Richardson’s skin burning with the Pink Craze in her body…

Lilian’s voice: Kane used his prototype on another student… And in result… it killed her…

Back to the present, the group was in disbelief as Lilian began to break down…

Tails: A prototype? So… This first experiment he did actually killed a person?! Why didn’t you tell the police about it??

Lilian: … I didn’t think of anything but… “I have to leave… I have to get out of here…” I don’t know why, but… I had this strange feeling that… he might’ve wanted to kill me next and… I was so scared back then… I was with this boy from the beginning… I wanted to help him succeed in life… But I was forced to watch him wane down from something human… to something inhuman…

The group: … … …

Lilian: I watched him lose his sense of self… his feelings… his emotions… (Tears flooded her eyes…) I watched him go INSANE… (She buries her face in her arms as she started crying…)

Cream: (She walks over to Lilian and hugs her…) We’re so sorry, Ms. Lilian…

Amy: (She approaches her…) I should be sorry… I assumed you created the Pink Craze, but now… I feel so stupid…

Knuckles: Yeah, you SHOULD feel that way. (Sonic punches him the shoulder) Ow!

Tails: Which brings us back to what needs to be done now. We need to figure out what Kane’s going to do and stop him before he succeeds.

Lilian: … (She looks up to the group…) I don’t know if we have a chance against him. With that Source he has… what hope do we have against it?

Rouge: Hey, I thought you were tougher than that, boss.

Amy: We gave our word to protect everyone in the city. And we plan to keep it that way.

Cream: We won’t let Kane or anyone else stop us!

Rouge: You got us into this, and you’re gonna need our help whether you like it or not.

Lilian: … … … (She stands up…) Station Square Patrollers… We have to find Kane and destroy the source before he begins his purge. Can I count on you ladies?

Amy, Rouge and Cream: (They salute) Yes, ma’am!

Lilian: (Turns to the boys) And I expect you boys to help us.

Sonic: Wouldn’t be much fun if we didn’t.

Tails: We promise to help out in any way possible!

Knuckles: There’s just one problem. He’s out there… And we’re stuck in HERE!

Lilian: Oh. … It kinda slipped my mind, didn’t it? (Everyone collapses out of the irony of Lilian’s forgetfulness.)

Outside… The last G.U.N robot mercenary was loaded on the cargo ship by a crane. Kane smirks as he approaches his ship with some soldiers behind him. The soldiers were hesitant as they followed Kane inside the cargo ship… The engines start up and begins to move away from the facility and into the ocean… Inside, Kane watches Station Square in his sights.

Back in the prison… The group was trying to figure out how to escape…

Knuckles: Why can I just dig us a way out of this dump?

Tails: That would not be recommended. This floor’s not durable to be a digging ground, and… it’s quite possible this entire prison floor is right above the water.

Sonic: Yeah. And… One of us doesn’t know how to swim well.

Tails: This place looks unstable, but there’s literally no way for us to break out.

Rouge: You hear that?

Cream: Um… Hear what?

Rouge: … (She looks around the room for a minute until she presses her ear against the locked door… She hears some kind of beeping that was beginning to speed up…) !!!! Get back!!

Amy: Wait, what-? (They all stood back as Lilian dragged her with them!) WAH!

BOOM!! The rubble and concrete spread everywhere as dust filled the room. The group coughed from the concrete and gravel dust until they see what looked to be a round figure in the dust. As the dust clears up… It turns out to be someone who they would least expect.

Eggman: (He laughs) Thought you wouldn’t see ME again, didn’t you??

The group: DR. EGGMAN?!?!

Eggman: In the flesh! (Orbot and Cubot zip in.)

Orbot: And his most loyal assistants, Orbot!

Cubot: And Cub-!

Rouge: Yeah yeah yeah, we get it.

Cubot: Ah… Killjoy.

Sonic: Hey, uh… You mind telling us what this whole rescue gig is all about?

Eggman: This isn’t what you may call recuse, in case you’re wondering. It’s a kidnapping! In… some technical evil sort of way heroes won’t understand.

Rouge: You’re right. I DON’T.

Lilian: Uh… C-Can we talk about that… later? We have bigger things to worry about. Kane is going to use the Pink Craze to destroy Station Square.

Tails: If only we knew how he’s going to do it. With that source, anything could happen…

Knuckles: Actually… Me and squirt might’ve found something. Right?

Cream: Um… Oh yeah! He had these weird drawings of robots destroying the city!

Rouge: … That doesn’t really paint a picture for me very well.

Orbot: Perhaps THIS would. (He bonks Cubot on the head and his eyes emit a projection of G.U.N’s robots with plans of the Pink Craze.)

Eggman: Apparently, this “Kane” who had the Pink Craze I found-…

Lilian: You mean “STOLE?”

Eggman: Hey, shut up! Anwyay… He seems to be planning to use the Pink Craze on G.U.N’s heavily mechanized warbots. As you probably know, the Pink Craze can cause people to hallucinate and develop strange mutations in their bodies. Not to mention override technology. Kane plans on using these robots to wipe out Station Square.

The group was in disbelief…

Eggman: (Combing his mustache.) An admiringly bizarre plan. But for what reason?

Lilian: He says he wants to… “purify” this world.

Knuckles: That’s low. Even stooping lower than Eggman could.

Eggman: I’m not DEAF, ya know!! My plans to destroy this city would’ve been successful if you bratty hedgehogs didn’t get away with my source code in that box!

Sonic: Well it wouldn’t be fun to trade in a bad guy for another, now WOULD IT?

Tails: Ok, so now we know what Kane’s up to. We just have to catch up to him before he unleashes those robots. If we have enough vaccine, we can use it to stop the Craze!

Rouge: I don’t think we have enough on hand.

Amy: Is there any way to get more?

Lilian: Well, Dr. Blyner might have some more at the Research Center back in the city… Where Kane is headed…

Cream: You’re right! My mom and Cheese could be in danger!

Sonic: We have to go back. And quickly.

Eggman: Allow me to provide assistance.

Rouge: Out of all the people who would wanna help us fight off a psycho inducing scientist, why would we depend on a guy like YOU?

Eggman: If he destroys the city, there won’t be any place for ME to rein terror over!

Rouge and Sonic: … … … Fair enough.

Lilian: Let’s go.

The entire group escapes the cell and rush out of the cell halls to make it outside.

Tails: I sure hope the Tornado’s still in one piece outside…

Outside the facility, the group manages to get back outside to the landing dock. They rush to look behind it and see the Tornado still halted in the water.

Tails: *Whew…* Looks like I can cancel my calls for plane insurance!

Sonic: Since when are YOU legible for insurance?

Lilian: I don’t think there’s enough room for me in the plane, kids…

Eggman: *AHEM!* You do realize I have transportation TOO, right? (He takes out a small car alarm device and presses a button. Nearby, his Eggmobile alarm turns off.)

Lilian: I was hoping I would avoid that.

Tails and the rest were ready to go in the Tornado while Lilian was beside Eggman, Orbot and Cubot.

Tails: Hang on, everyone! This is gonna be a rough! (The engine starts up and the Tornado takes flight! Eggman follows behind!)

Sonic: So, uh… Anybody have a plan to stop that Pink Craze psycho??

Eggman flies alongside and Lilian talks to the others.

Lilian: First, we need to head to the Research Facility! Blyner’s probably got more vaccine in there!

Cream: Wait! We have to make sure my mom and Cheese are ok!

Amy: I’m more worried about Honey at the hospital!

Eggman: What are you talking about?! We have to stop that kid before he gets to the city FIRST!!

Lilian: Rouge, you and Amy help Honey at the hospital!  Me, Tails and Sonic will head to the research facility! Knuckles, bring Cream to her house and take her mother somewhere safe!

Orbot: What about us? What valuable assistance could we provide in this dire situation??

Lilian: Stall them!

Eggman: How?!

Lilian: I don’t know! Bring your OWN robots or something!

They fly faster through the air. Meanwhile, in the ship’s deck… Kane witness the group flying past him.

Kane: (He gets a look of concern and then balls his fist.) (Shouts to some soldiers controlling the ship.) Move this ship faster! Now!!

The group managed to land by the beach! Tails’ plane skidded across the sand as people scurried away from it. Eggman’s Eggmobile hovers above the ground as Lilian and the rest disembark.

Sonic: Ok. Let’s hurry before he shows up!

Rouge: (To Eggman) Don’t do anything funny, Egg-head!

Eggman: When MY chance to destroy this city is on the line?! Don’t make me laugh! (He lifts off in the Eggmobile and flies off towards the direction of his base.)

The group splits up into their teams and venture off.

Knuckles and Cream rush past several civilians to make it back to her house.

Knuckles: Oh hey, sorry for not noticing, but… Where’s Cheese at?

Cream: I-! I think he’s still at home!

Knuckles: Why didn’t he come with you??

Cream: I don’t know!

They managed to make it to her house and burst the door open!

Cream: Mom! (They both rush to the living room where Vanilla and Cheese were!)

Vanilla: Cream! Where have you been?? I’ve been worried sick about you! (Cheese hides behind Vanilla, afraid of Cream…)

Knuckles: Yeah, kind of a long story. Lilian was kidnapped, we had to rescue her from G.U.N’s place and now the creator of the Pink Craze is going to destroy this city with some killer robots.

Vanilla: !!!

Knuckles: Hey, this is reality, woman!

Cream: (Cheese still cowers from her…) Cheese? What’s wrong? It’s me, Cream…

Vanilla: Oh… Cheese had a bruise on his cheek when I saw him.

Cream: I… … (She realizes she hit him with her elbow by accident…)  Oh no… Cheese, I’m so sorry for hurting you. It was an accident… I was just… so sad yesterday…

Cheese: … Chao… (He steps away from Vanilla and flies over to Cream. Cream holds him in his arms and hugs him.) Chao. Chao chao!

Cream: (She hugs him tightly…) Oh Cheese…

Knuckles: Yeah let’s cut the waterworks, lady. This crazy guy’s gonna attack the city! So we gotta move! Like NOW!

Vanilla: (To Cream) Is he telling the truth? (Cream nods.) Well… Alright. Lead the way.

Cream: (She holds her mother’s hand and they leave the house…)

Meanwhile, Honey sits in her hospital room on her bed looking out the open window. Amy and Rouge burst in past the door!

Honey: Wah! (She flinches in her bed and clenches her waist from the pain…) Ow…

Amy: !!! Honey! (She runs up to her) Are you ok??

Honey: Y…Yeah. What’s the matter?

Amy: You’re in danger! The whole hospital is in danger! The whole CITY’S in danger!

Honey: Huh?

Rouge: Ok, you know how you were collecting the Pink Craze before? Well it turns out this guy named Kane was only collecting it to power G.U.N’s robots and now that he has the source, all hell’s gonna break loose…

Honey: G.U.N never got rid of the Craze??

Rouge: Apparently NOT. Since they thought he would take care of it. And now he’s about to lay waste on this city.

Amy: We told the front desk what was going to happen. And they’re gonna try their best to evacuate everyone here.

Rouge: Meanwhile, we’re gonna go and kick Kane’s butt.

Honey: … L-Let me come with you! If this Kane guy tricked me AND G.U.N then I have a score to settle!

Amy: Honey, you can’t fight in your condition.

Honey: I don’t care! (She flings the covers off and attempts to get up from the bed.) He made me try to hurt you and I wanna hurt him back! I-! (She attempts to move forward, but shouts in pain) Ahh! Aaah!! (She was about to fall only for Amy to catch her!)

Amy: You’re still healing! (She sits her back in the bed.) We’ll take care of this. Alright?

Honey: But I wanna BE there for you girls. I wanna make up for what I did…

Rouge: Hey, you can make up all you want. Just as soon as we deal with this.

Honey: …

Amy: Don’t worry about us. We just want you safe.

Honey: … A…Alright. And Amy? … Kick Kane’s butt for me.

Amy: Will do. (Winks)

In the Station Square Research facility… Blyner dropped a flask onto the floor which shattered and spread glass all around the floor… He had a shocked expression on his face as if he witnessed someone being hit by a car… Lilian told him everything about what Kane’s doing…

Lilian: …

Sonic: Yeah, we’re sorry you had to hear this. But we really need your help.

Tails: If we don’t act soon, Kane’s going to destroy this city. We need you more than ever.

Blyner: … (He goes over to a phone on the counter, picks it up and speaks in it.) Susie, I need you and the others in office. NOW. We need to make more of that vaccine we shelved. And quadruple it.

Outside the city, people were going about their usual business only until some people noticed the cargo ship approaching the city. Not even stopping by the docks… Most of the people who were witnessing this moment gathered about in confusion as they never witness a ship parked near an unexpected part of their city by the ocean water. Kane walks out onto the deck where people could see him on the ship…

Kane: Greetings and salutations, Station Square. You may remember me as Kane Miaozuki. The famed scientist searching for a cure… To cleanse our world. I have big news to share with you all. I have found the soul reason for why our world is so corrupted.

Some people listened intently.

Kane: It’s filled to the brim with greed and hatred. And I have suffered for too long bearing these burdens. This sickness that is poisoning our world… Starts with all of you…

Most people talked amongst themselves, quite intrigued and concerned about Kane’s comment…

Kane: And now it’s time to fix that. (He takes out a control pad and presses a button.)

The cargo door opens to reveal an army of G.U.N’s mechanized robots.

Kane: As long as you dwindled in this world, it will continue to spiral down into chaos. And it’s my destiny to right that wrong. (Most of the robots turn on with their eyes turning dark pink…) I’m sorry it has to be this way. But it’s for the good of this world.

Some robots hover from the ship and onto the concrete road of the city. Most people began to scream in fear as the robots were about to attack! Suddenly, something shot a robot down with an laser ball!

Kane: ?!?! (Kane noticed some Buzz-Bombers and Egg-Bots closed in on the G.U.N mechs and Eggman with his robots floated by in his Eggmobile!)

Eggman: If anyone wants to destroy this city… It’s ME!

Kane: Dr. Eggman…

Eggman: I should’ve known you’d interfere with MY plans for Station Square! Well sorry, boy-o! This town’s not big enough for the both of us!

Kane: You think you’re so threatening when really; you’re nothing but a joke. I have my own creation at my side. And it serves my will to continue my purge for a cleansed world.

Eggman: Oh no you don’t! Eggman doesn’t go down without a fight!! Attack!!

Eggman’s robots turn their direction towards Kane, but the G.U.N robots hover in front of him and shot down Eggman’s bots with bullets! The egg-bot scraps slam to the ground.

Kane: My will for a cleansed world will not be halted by someone as insignificant as you.

One of the Laser Hunters shoots a powerful laser beam at Eggman’s Eggmobile, causing it to hurl down to towards the ground!

Eggman: GAAAH!!! (Some people jumped out of the way as the ship crashed into the ground with him and his two robots fumbling out and right in front of Amy and Rouge!) Oomph!!

Rouge and Amy: …

Eggman: (Quickly stands up and looks professional) Eh! I have him right where I want him! He just-! Um… Knocked me off balance! Not as professional as one would think! So as soon as I’m back in the air, I’ll go in for the kill! No need to thank me! (He starts pushing his Eggmobile away from the group.)

Rouge: Good, cuz I don’t plan to.

More G.U.N mechs fly out of the ship and into the city! Amy and Rouge take notice of the chaos emerging as the group comes together once again!

Sonic: (Pushes in a few gallons of vaccine liquid in plastic containers) You would not believe this, but Dr. Blyner had all this vaccine lying around and he and his scientist made more just to be safe and all, so-… (He notices the destruction.) Did we… miss anything?

Tails: Look at them… Those robots are trying to hurt all those people…

Knuckles: How about instead of sight-seeing the destruction we should I dunno… Try and STOP it?

Tails: We can take care of the robots, but the Pink Craze is still running around in the city! We can’t stop the robots and eradicate the Craze flowing at the same time!

Sonic: Uh, yes we can. You forgot someone is faster than the speed of sound?

Lilian: Really? Who?? … … … Oh, right! It’s… Sonic! Heh heh… I… knew that! (Cheese Facepalms…)

No time later, the group discusses the plan as fast as they can.

Tails: (He gives Sonic a pump spray filled with vaccine and his hand held) While we spray vaccine on the robots, we need you to locate signals of the Pink Craze in the city and spray vaccine  on them till they’re gone! They may regenerate but with your speed it shouldn’t be a problem! Am I going too fast for you?

Sonic: (Trying to not look dumb) Uh... N-No, of course not! (The townspeople’s screams grow louder in pitch!)

Lilian: Let’s get a move on! Station Square Patrollers!

Lilian and the girls: MOVE OUT!!

They all rush ahead! Meanwhile, Lilian looks up at the cargo ship where Kane was… She had to make her way there to confront him.

Sonic runs about the city and looks at Tails’ handheld tracking the Craze!

Sonic: There should be one… There! (He zooms up and points his sprayer into a grassy patch. He looks at the screen and the pink craze signal disappears!) Nailed it! Only a million more to go. (He zooms off!)

Back to the rampaging robots, they continue shooting bullets and lasers around only until Amy strikes one down with her hammer and sprays it with vaccine!

Amy: One down!

Rouge: (She jumps on top of a robot and kicks it’s head off before spraying vaccine on it.) That was too easy.

Cream was cornered by one robot. She holds her staff in her hands, trembling in fear. The robot cornering her readies it’s gatling gun arm.

Cream: YIP!! (She tosses her staff at the robot… and it topples over.) ??? I… I did it! (She and Cheese high-five!)

Tails fights off one robot with a wrench as Knuckles pummels down a few in front of him!

Knuckles: Oh, you want some more?! Well why didn’t you SAY so?! (He punches holes through a few more robots.)

Rouge flies over them and sprays them with vaccine. The Pink Craze goop bleeding from the bots as they dissipate with contact by the vaccine.

Inside the ship, Kane looked through the window and noticed the Patrollers at work.

Kane: Damn you… Scrawny little animal BRATS…

Lilian’s voice: Those “scrawny little animals…”

Kane: !!! (He turns around and witnesses Lilian with a few G.U.N soldiers near her. The commander was right behind her being held up by another soldier.)

Lilian: Are my students.

Kane: Why are you getting in my way? Don’t you see the good deed I’m doing for this city?

Lilian: You think killing innocent lives is a good deed?! You’re using your experiment as a homicidal weapon!

Kane: You don’t know that. This work of mine… It knows all and tells me exactly what is right and wrong.

Lilian: Where’s the Kane I remember?! Who wanted to actually help the world by continuing a legacy?! Can’t you see what you’re doing is poisoning yourself? … Can’t you see you’re losing your sense of reality??

Kane: … … … My mind is crystal clear. If you can’t see my vision of a cleansed world… (He holds up his pistol…) Then you can all go to hell. (He turns to the window and pulls the trigger, breaking the window and jumping out to the deck!)

The soldiers fired their guns only for Kane to make his way down below deck!

Commander: Ugh! I can’t see anything! What’s going on?!

Lilian: I’ll get Kane! I need your men to help my patrollers in the city! NOW!! (She runs out of the room to give chase to Kane!)

Back in the city, some robots were flying away from the group to attack the townspeople!

Amy: Ugh!! There’s too many of them!

Knuckles: (Punching one robot to the ground.) Hate to say this, but we’re gonna need some help with these things! (One robot lands in front of Knuckles and readies it’s gatling gun arm!) Whoa!!

Just when it was about to open fire, a white flash blinded Knuckles for a moment. When it cleared, a heart-shaped hole was around the robot as Pink Craze bleeded from it’s broken pieces of metal and wires! The robot fell to the ground as the figure who defeated it stood before the hunk of metal!

It was their friend Sweetlove the Rabbit! Her angel wings flapped as feathers flustered about.

Sweetlove: (Talking fast and giddy) Hi, girls! Long time no see! I wanted to come by and say hi again when I picked up this SUPER scary sense and I knew it was bad sign so I thought why not come by and give you hand?? I mean you did help me out in the past so I thought why not we-!

Amy: (Smashes a robot with her hammer) It’s nice to see you, Sweetlove, but-! (She sprays a robot with vaccine) Can you please give us a hand??

Sweetlove: Huh? (She notices two Laser Hunters in front of her!) Oh, right! (She uses an pure white energy ball to impact the robots!)

Tails: Mfgh! (He jams a robot’s eye with his wrench!) Who’s the girl with the wings??

Cream: (She hovers near him.) She’s a friend of ours! And she’s our guardian angel! (Some lasers barely hit her!) Yip!!

Rouge was caught by a robot which held her in one arm!

Rouge: Aah! Mfgh! … (She suddenly blushes as she felt the robot’s hand slightly squeezing her text has been removed.) Hey!! Your filthy metal hands better not be touching what I think you’re touching!

Suddenly, the robot froze up and Rouge snapped off it’s hand! It fell to the ground, shattering as Pink Craze started to bleed out! The one who froze the robot was Sapphire the Rabbit!

Sapphire: Hee-hee! Need a hand?

Rouge: (She gets up and takes out a vaccine sprayer) Not on my chest I don’t. (She sprays the Pink Craze bleeding and the vaccine devours it.) Ugh… That’s something my stomach can’t digest.

Cream screams as she and Cheese were chased a robot! It was about to open fire when suddenly, it was grabbed by a fishhook and was being pulled back by Big the Cat with his fishing pole!

Big: (He struggles to pull the robot until he musters enough strength to yank his fishing pole and launch the robot up in the air!)

At the same time, Amy and Tails were in the presence of two other robots, only to have the flung robot crash into them!

Amy: (She and him turn to see Big!) Big!

Big: Hi, Amy! I came to help! Did I do good?

Amy: You did great, Big! Really great!

They quickly notice some G.U.N soldiers shooting down the robots until they crashed to the ground!

Soldier 1: Do not let them into city, I repeat! Do not let them into the city!

Tails: Whoa, this is turning out better than we hoped!

Amy: I wonder if Sonic’s doing ok…

Meanwhile… Sonic seemed to be doing just fine going from place to place spraying some vaccine around certain places where Pink Craze lingers. From trashcans in the street, to a grass area where a dog was about to do it’s business to inside a house and into someone’s bathroom to spray vaccine in the toilet.

Sonic: And FLUSH. (He flushes the toilet.) What? Too serious for a bathroom joke? (He zooms out of the bathroom.)

In the cargo-ship, Lilian cornered Kane in the dark cargo room…

Lilian: Kane, You have to stop this… Can’t you see that it’s making you a monster?? This creation of yours is driving you to a breaking point! … I just don’t… Want you to continue like this… (Kane retaliated by shooting his gun… She clenches her shoulder…) Ah!!

Kane: And why’s that? I’m not your friend. I’m not even your student anymore. You’re just another piece of scum that’s trying to get in my way…

Lilian: …

Kane: I don’t want your help… All I want… (The lights turn on and standing in front of Lilian was a monstrous robot…) Is the suffering to END.

It was a F-6t BIG FOOT armored mechanized warbot. The huge glass container holding the Source of the Pink Craze was connected to it’s back… Kane climbed up the robot and sat inside the cockpit.

Kane: Now then. (The loading dock door opens behind him.) Let’s see if your “Station Square Patrollers can handle this.

Meanwhile, the fight against the Pink Craze robots begins to die down. One robot was struggling to get back up as Pink Craze bled from it’s metal pieces. The Patrollers however stood before it and sprayed vaccine until the Craze was destroyed and the robot was shut off…

Tails: (He, Knuckles, Sweetlove, Sapphire and Big rush in.) Did… Did we get them all?

Amy: I… I think so.

Solider 1: (Talking to the rest of his crew) Let’s search the city for any remaining robots.

Soldiers: Sir! Yes sir! (They rush off)

Sapphire: We did it, guys! We actually did it! Woo!

Sweetlove: Go team!

Knuckles: Heh. Not bad. Not bad at all!

Tails: What about Sonic? We have to let him know that-!

There was a loud BANG as Kane in the BIG FOOT stood before them.

Tails: That… We’re in big trouble again…

BIG FOOT’s metal leg lifts up in the air!

Cream: Look out!! (They all dodged as it crushed the concrete!)

Sonic: (He zips in as Tails barely notices him.) Hey, Tails! I did what you said, you know, locate the Pink Craze with your handheld thingy and you won’t believe this, but the Pink Craze  is completely gone! Thanks to yours truly! (The handheld beeps loudly as it emits a Pink Craze signal… to Kane…) Did I… Miss anything?

Kane: This is the beginning… Of your end.

Sonic: (He hands his equipment and handheld back to Tails.) Don’t worry, guys. I fought this hunk of metal before. Shouldn’t be a problem. (He revs up and shoots into the air to hone into the robot.)

CLANG!!! Sonic fumbles back as his attack did nothing!

Kane: (He laughs) My source makes me invincible!

Sonic: Yeah… This is now a problem.

The group of heroes were now facing against Kane piloting the BIG FOOT. He activates the gatling gun and the group dodges a whole array of bullets scattering the area! Big uses his fishing pole to try and hold the BIG FOOT but the pole breaks!

Big: Whoa! (He falls to the ground from recoil!)

Kane fires missiles straight towards Sweetlove! She holds up a magical shield, but the missiles exploded and push her back!

Sweetlove: (She falls to the ground!) Oomph!

Sapphire uses her ice abilities to freeze the legs of the BIG FOOT!

Sapphire: Hah! (But the machine breaks free from the ice.) Oop. (She franticlly dodges the legs of the machine and scampers away from it!) Eyaah!!

Kane: Now that the distractions are out of the way. It’s time to end the climax. (He activates a lever…)

The machine emits a powerful beam of electricity zapping Amy, Cream, Cheese and Rouge as they scream in pain!

Sonic: No!! (He, Tails and Knuckles rush to help, but another beam of electricity traps them as well!)

Kane: What’s wrong? Can’t take the pain? This is only a mere taste of what people will witness. All they do is judge you and kick you in the dust. Humanity and those associated with it… Must be eliminated…

Amy: (Trying to bare the pain…) Mfgh… So what if people aren’t nice?? That doesn’t mean there are people who don’t care! People WILL judge you… and they WILL make fun of you. But… There are people who are nice and actually WANT to help you…

Kane: …

Amy: Like… Like Ms. Lilian…

Kane: …

Amy: We know… that you can stop this… Before it happens… Don’t give up on the world, Kane… Because somewhere… someone… is reaching out to you…

Kane: … … … That’s… quite a lot coming from a girl like you. … … … Even if you’re not HUMAN…

Amy: !!!

Kane: You’re still as black and empty as everyone ELSE!! (He thrusts the lever further and the electricity surging the heroes intensifies as they scream in pain!!) Before I knew my destiny, I wanted to help people… But now I see everything that has to be done… And you… will NOT… GET IN MY WAY!!

The electricity increases until something shoots straight towards the BIG FOOT! It was a missile that struck the back of the BIG FOOT!!

Kane: AAUGH!!

The electricity shuts off and the heroes thud to the ground! The impact of the missile actually loosened some bolts that held the source to the BIG FOOT and it thuds to the ground! The one who shot the missile was Eggman in his Eggmobile with his robots!

Eggman: (He laughs evilly) Not so tough without it, aren’t ya?? How about you hand it over to me before I blast ya again?

Kane turns the machine around and presses a button and launches multiple missiles at Eggman!

Eggman: Ooh. (The missiles hit the Eggmobile!!) DOOH!! (It then hurls to the ground!!)

Amy and her friends slowly get back on their feet!

Sapphire: Guys, look! The big pink thingy!

Rouge: Source.

Sapphire: The source! It’s off of the machine!

Knuckles: Then we should strike while the iron’s hot!

Sonic: Good to know!

Kane: I will not tolerate you animals interfering…

Now was the time to strike since the Source was no longer powering up the BIG FOOT. Cream and Tails flew in the air towards Kane. She took out her staff while Tails took out his wrench! Kane activated the gatling guns, but before a bullet could even fire, the two threw their weapons into the gatling gun’s barrels, jamming them!

Kane: THE HELL?!

Now it was Knuckles’ and Rouge’s turn! Rouge flew up in the air as she held up Knuckles! Kane activates the missiles again! At that point, Rouge dropped Knuckles, he bounces off a missile and pounds the missile launcher! Rouge does the same with the other!

Sonic: Amy! Hit me!

Amy: I beg your pardon??

Sonic: I mean hit me with your hammer! (He forms into a ball and prepares for a spin attack!)

Amy: Huh-? Oh! Oh of course! (She twirls her hammer and strikes Sonic, launching him straight towards the BIG FOOT!!)

He bangs into it, leaving a slight dent as the machine wobbles backwards and trips over the container holding the source before falling to the ground!

Lilian’s voice: Patrollers!! (The group witnesses Lilian coming out of the ship, but she was clenching her shoulder as it was slightly bleeding…)

Lilian: Ugh… You have to destroy the source! NOW!! Use the vaccine!

The group: Right! (They rush forward towards the source and see a funnel-like opening.)

Amy: Do you think we can pour it down this?

Rouge: Worth a shot.

Amy: (She takes out her sprayer) Oh no! I’m almost out!

Cream: Me too!

Rouge: Well, let’s just use ours together!

The three of them remove the spray caps and they poured the vaccine into the large container all at once. Little by little they saw the vaccine being consumed by the Pink Craze… However, the vaccine continued attacking as it multiplied, consuming each drop of Craze inside! Like a white blood cell consuming a germ it continued to destroy every essence of it until it reached the dark pink circular blob and wrapped around it, consuming it until it shrunk into nothingness…

All that was left was drops of vaccine… The source was no more… Sonic and the other friends rushed in.

Sonic: Did… Did we do it? Is it over?

Sweetlove: For REAL this time?

Tails: I can’t believe it’s actually destroyed! You did it, girls! You actually did it!

Big: Hooray!

Sonic: I gotta say, we all make a pretty good team, don’t we?

Amy: … Yeah… We do. We ALL do! (Lilian slowly approaches… And almost falls…) !!! Ms. Lilian! (She and the Patrollers help her up!)

Cream: Are you ok??

Cheese: Chao chao!

Lilian: Y…Yeah… Kane got me good… (She clenches her shoulder in pain…)

Sweetlove: (Approaches Lilian) Let me help! (She holds out her arms and some heart shape lights surround Lilian’s wound until it fully heals!) Feeling better?

Lilian: Yes. Thank you.

Tails: (Looks at his handheld…) According to these scans… The Pink Craze is officially gone. For good.

Rouge: Not bad for a hedgehog, rabbit and bat wouldn’t you say?

Sonic: Uh, hello! You forgetting who actually helped you defeat this loony sociopath?

The G.U.N soldiers return as the citizens who were hiding in the buildings and nearby saw the wreckage…

Solider 1: (Approaches Lilian) The whole city has been secured. Not a single rogue robot in sight.

Lilian: That’s a relief… (The soldier walks back to reassure the citizens.)

Tails: !!! Uh… guys??

Cream: What’s wrong?

Tails: I seem to be picking up… a new Pink Craze signal…

The group: WHAT??!!

Tails: And it’s coming… (Point to the BIG FOOT lying on the ground…) From over THERE…

Suddenly, the robot stands up and started to hover in the air with it’s rocket thrusters!! It started levitating higher as Amy and the others rush in before it was up in the air!

Kane: (He opens the cracked window and laughs…) You think it’s over? I never go down that easily. My plans might’ve been pushed into a major-setback… But next time you all won’t be so lucky. (He apparently powered the machine with the tube of the prototype Pink Craze that Blake Bronze made…) Perhaps we will meet again. Lilian.

The group was in disbelief as Kane was about to make his getaway… Until something clung to the robot’s back and crawled towards Kane’s open cockpit.

Orbot: (He and Cubot pop out of the wreckage of the Eggmobile and witness something on the BIG FOOT…) B…Boss? I think I see someone up there.

Eggman: (He pops out as well with his mustache crooked.) Heh?

Kane was staring eye to eye at a beat-up and barely functioning Metal Sonic who was angry at his presence…

Eggman: !!! It’s Metal!!

Amy and her group were shocked!

Amy: Is that… METAL??

Rouge: That’s a shocker.

Electricity sparks out of his broken metal parts as he faces Kane.

Kane: Huh. So you actually still work? Heh heh heh…  You’re not even a shell of my original plans. You piece of TRASH. (He kicks Metal out, but he clings to the ship with his claws and glares at Kane.) What? You don’t like being kicked around? You should’ve fulfilled your purpose when I gave you all the power you could desire. You’re nothing but a husk.

Metal: … … … (He lifts up his arm and slams it onto his chest.)

His eyes started to glow rapidly as he glared at Kane until the beeping it emitted started growing louder and faster…

Kane: !!!

BOOM!!! Metal self-destructs and the BIG FOOT begins to hurl towards the ground as the citizens shook in terror!

Eggman: Metal!! Nooo!!!

The BIG FOOT crashes to the ground as it catches fire… Everyone stood far from it as from the looks of it… Kane couldn’t have survived the crash… However, that wasn’t the case. He emerges from the wreckage, screaming in pain as he clenches his arm covered in his own blood…

Kane: (He breaths heavily as he struggles to stand…) It won’t… end like THIS.

Amy: Kane… Please let it go… The Pink Craze’s been driving you crazy all this time. You must be so tired…

Kane: I… AM… tired… Of being in your presence… (He takes out the prototype Craze tube…)

Lilian: (Desperate) No… No, don’t do this! That’s the same prototype that killed Emily!

Kane: It listens to no one but me. It’s my creation… and I rule over it.

Lilian: Don’t risk your life for it! It’s not worth it!

Kane: … … … You cheated me of my goals. … WHY… SHOULD I PLAY FAIR? (He opens the plastic cap on the tube and it was revealed to be a needle.)

He jabs the needle in his bloody arm and grunts in pain as the Craze entered his body… The group were in disbelief as they witnessed Kane’s choice…

Rouge: Oh no…

Kane: (Kane starts to laugh again…) How could you be missing out on something extraordinary?? It makes you feel alive, doesn’t it?? I know because I’ve talked with it my whole life… It knows me inside and out… We’re like… a family… Heh heh… It’s so wonderful, my Craze… It’s so… So…

Lilian: K…Kane?

Kane: (He suddenly felt something inside of him…) What’s… going on? … Ugh… It’s… tearing… m-me apart… I… Ugh… (His bloody arm started to peel away as his grunts grew louder…)

Lilian: Everyone… LOOK AWAY. LOOK AWAY NOW!! (Amy and the entire group looks away with Lilian…)

All at once, Kane’s skin starts to inflame and peel off as his cries in pain steadily increased in pitch… The rest of the group didn’t look… But Lilian couldn’t help but witness Kane’s horrible infection slowly killing him. His eyeballs almost bulge out of his head as drops of blood pour out of his mouth… He fell to the floor, his screams turning into gurgled cries as he choked on his own blood inside his inflamed neck…

The screaming ceased… And Kane’ mutilated corpse lay silent… The group still didn’t look as Lilian couldn’t control the tears in her eyes… She knelt down to the ground and started crying. Amy and her friends hugged Lilian, reassuring her… The citizens of the city witnessed this horrible scene as police cars drove into the scene…

Later, some policemen cover up Kane’s corpse with a white blanket and put up some road blocks around the scene… Lilian stood by as the group stood with her… Dr. Blyner walks in…

Blyner: … Did he know you were trying to help him?

Lilian: …

Blyner: Lilian, I’m sorry. There was nothing we can do…

Lilian: I know… But deep down… He was calling for help… And this Craze… toned him out.

Blyner: …

Lilian: How am I gonna make this city forget this whole scene?

Amy: Maybe… We should stop hiding… And show them who we are.

Rouge: We can’t keep this a secret forever.

Cream: Everyone should know about us.

Cheese: Chao chao chao…

Sapphire: Um… I think it’s for the best.

Sweetlove: So do I.

Big: Me too… (Froggy climbs up to his shoulder.)

Lilian: … … …

A female news reporter was talking to a cameraman with a microphone.

Reporter: …As seen here, the famed Kane Miaozuki accidently killed himself with a strange poisonous chemical right before he set G.U.N’s robots to unleash terror in the city this afternoon. Upon his reign of a horrendous homicide, a group of young individuals in strange uniforms stood up and fought these robots with the help of the armed G.U.N units.

As the reporter continued, Lilian approached her.

Lilian: Excuse me, I… Like to say a few words.

Reporter: And… What is that, ma’am?

Lilian: I knew that boy from the beginning. He was my student and… he made a strange chemical called the “Pink Craze.” You see… He killed a student a while ago and… I was just so scared of what I saw that… I had to run away from it… So I found refuge here. But when I heard that the Pink Craze was around the city, I knew he was around here, so… I had to form a… a group. A group to help me fight against the Craze. G-Girls? Girls, can you come over here please?

The girls approach Lilian.

Lilian: Everyone… This is Amy Rose, Cream and Rouge. And together they are the Station Square Patrollers. I’ve tasked these girls to destroy the Craze that was flowing around the city. I know they’re young but… They have potential and… They had help along the way.

Amy turns to Sonic and he gives her a thumbs up.

Lilian: I wanted to keep the Craze a secret from this city because… Everyone would flip out, you know what I mean? But now… I don’t think it needs to be a secret anymore. If it wasn’t for these young ladies, Kane would’ve killed everyone. They’ve worked so hard to stop this city from crumbling and… I think they deserve the honor… Of being heroines of Station Square.

Some of the citizens started clapping. Then more… And then everyone started clapping! Sonic and his friends along with Sapphire and the others were overjoyed.

Vanilla: (She pushes her way through the crowd and rushes to Cream and Cheese!) Cream!! (She hugs her daughter) Are you ok?? I was so worried about you!

Cream: I’m sorry, mama… But we’re ok! Right, Cheese?

Cheese: Chao!

Lilian is pleased with the people she and the Patrollers saved. Blyner approaches her and smiles as he puts his hand on her shoulder.

Blyner: You did pretty well, Lilian. You uh… still gonna go on with this Patroller gig?

Lilian: (She was watching the girls wave at the crowd.) … I don’t know. … I really don’t know…

Time passes. The sun was just minutes away from setting as construction workers were patching up the roads and anything else that was damaged… Back in the hospital…

Honey was sitting in her bed watching the city below her until Amy enters the room.

Honey: !!! Amy!

Amy: (She approaches and hugs Honey!) Honey, I’m glad you’re safe! How are you feeling?

Honey: Could be better, or could be worse. Thankfully, I don’t have any shattered bones. Heh… What happened out there?

Amy: Well, everything’s back to normal. It’s a long story, but… The Pink Craze is officially gone!

Honey: Are you serious??

Amy: Yep!

Honey: Awesome! I knew you girls could do it!

Amy: So… when are you gonna be discharged?

Honey: Until the doctor says so. It still hurts a lot…

Amy: Did you uh… Open your present?

Honey: My what?

Amy: I… I bought you a present when you were brought here. You didn’t open it?

Honey: I… guess not. Sorry… (Amy sees it on the dresser and brings it to her.)

Amy: You’ll like it, I know it.

Honey: …

Amy: … Honey, what’s the matter?

Honey: … After I’m out of the hospital… What do I do? Where do I go?

Amy: … You should… You should start making clothes again!

Honey: But… I just can’t push myself like I used to… What if… what I make things that are worse with that purse no one but YOU liked?

Amy: Who cares if no one likes what you make? It’s your designs and yours alone. I say you should be a fashionista again. Do the things that you love to do. (Smiles)

Honey: … (She looks at the present and opens it. It was a sewing box… with some threads, needles, a scissors and other small sewing do-dads.) … … … (She wanted to speak to Amy again, but… Amy left the room already.) … … … If I wanna do… what I love to do…

She sits on the edge of her bed… And undoes her pony tails until her hair drapes down.

Honey: I wanna start fresh. (She takes out the scissors from the box.) If I don’t… It’s not sweet… Then I’m not wearing Honey.

Her hair flows down to the floor…

Out by the ocean of the city… Amy sits on a bench, watching the orange sea colored by the setting sun…

Amy: (She inhales and exhales softly…) The breeze feels so right at home…

Sonic zooms by but quickly walks backwards and notices Amy. He didn’t understand why he wanted to sit near Amy but he decided to anyway.

Amy: !! Sonic!

Sonic: Hey Amy. You uh… doing alright?

Amy: Yeah. I guess. Just got a lot on my mind right now.

Sonic: Yeah. I hear that. So… You and the girls actually saved this whole city.

Amy: I know, right? It’s… kinda overwhelming.

Sonic: Ah, when you end up saving the day countless times you get used to it. But you know… I’m proud of you. You stood for what’s right and… Poof, you saved the entire city!

Amy: Ha… You’re right.

Sonic: Hey… You know something? When you were struggling with that fever… I felt something that I never felt before. It felt like… if you didn’t wake up… I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself.

Amy: …

Sonic: And then… you came back. … Now I know this sounds a bit silly, but… Do you think it was those bracelets that did it?

Amy: … (She smiles.) I think so. … It’s strange, I know. It seems like… They really did safe my life. Like a real miracle. Thank you.

Sonic: (He smiles sheepishly.) … … … Where is that bracelet of yours anyway? (Amy reached in her purse and… held up a black elastic with the half heart on it…) ???

Amy: I must’ve broken it when we were fighting off those robots… I guess it… doesn’t do any good for me anymore.

Sonic: … Um… Here, lemme see that. (He takes the elastic and moves to the back of Amy’s head.)

Amy: (Sonic holds up Amy’s quills.) Huh? S-Sonic, what are you-?

Sonic: Almost… Got it! … Ok, I don’t qualify myself as a hair stylist but… I hope it’s something.

Amy takes out a small mirror from her purse… and sees that the elastic of her half heart wrapped her quills into a pony tail…

Amy: !!! Oh… Sonic I… I love this!

Sonic: Really? I didn’t think you would.

Amy: Well it’s not perfect, but… I still love it anyway!

Sonic: I’d figure you’d say that.

Amy: Am I always THAT predictable to you?

Sonic started to laugh… and so did Amy.

Amy: … Sonic… Let’s make this our meeting place.

Sonic: Huh?

Amy: If we can’t find each other… Let’s remember this spot. Alright?

Sonic: Um… Ok, I guess. It is kind of a nice view anyway.

Amy: Yeah… We can… (She yawns…) We can always… come here… (She started to fall asleep…) To… See each other… anytime… we want.

Sonic: (Amy leans onto Sonic’s lap, fast asleep.) !!! A-Amy, what are you-?? (Amy was breathing softly as she was sleeping…) She’s… fast asleep.

Amy: … (She smiles…) … … …

Sonic: Ah… What am I gonna do with you, kid? … (He couldn’t help but smile.) (He holds her up in his arms.) C’mon, Amy. Let’s get you home. (He carries the fast asleep Amy as the sun slowly sets…)

In the quiet lab of the Patrollers… Lilian sits by her desk and recalls a conversation she had with the Commander in his facility… He was talking to her at his desk as his eyes were bandaged…

Commander: We owe our gratitude towards you and your Patrollers. And we offer our sincerest apologies. With the Pink Case officially closed, we no longer will attempt to involve ourselves with you and your Patrollers.

Lilian: … I don’t appreciate the fact that you worked with Kane on this, but… who can blame you. He was very manipulative, wasn’t he?

Commander: He was in a way. … Tell me, do you plan to continue with this group?

Lilian: … To tell the truth… I only made this group to stop the Craze.

Later on, Lilia was being escorted in a helicopter back to Station Square.

Lilian’s voice: I don’t know if I wanna keep going with this.

Lilian sits in her lab, thinking to herself…

Lilian: … … …

One week later… Amy, Sonic and their friends are in the hospital waiting room waiting for Honey. Amy finished explaining what happened to her.

Knuckles: Man, that’s rough…

Tails: Poor girl…

Amy: Well, after all this, I hope she’s in better health.

Their watches beep. They press a button and Lilian appears on their screens.

Lilian: (On screen) Patrollers, I need to speak with you. Come to the lab when you can. It’s kind of important.

Amy: Ok. We just need to pick up a friend first. (They end the call.)

A male nurse walks in.

Nurse: Are you friends with Honey?

Amy: That’s us. How is she?

Nurse: She’s doing just fine. She may need some antibiotics to properly heal the wound, but she seems to be able to move properly again. Oh, here she comes now.

Honey walks in. She was dressed in her usual red dress and red boots but with… a different hairstyle. It was in a short tomboyish style which surprised Amy and the others.

Honey: Hi, guys! (She hugs Amy) Sorry for keeping you waiting.

Amy: H-Honey… (She stares at Honey’s new haircut…) What happened to your hair?? It looks so… so…

Rouge: Out of character?

Honey: Well… I felt like I needed a new style. To fit the new me. The old Honey’s out! And this time, a new Honey’s in the scene! I just wanna thank you for lifting my spirits up. I haven’t felt fresh for so long.

Amy: (She smiles) It’s good to see you’re ok.

Cream: Um… Ms. Amy?

Amy: What?

Cream: Ms. Lilian wants to talk to us.

Amy: Oh that’s right! Ms. Lilian has something important for us.

In the lab… Lilian was packing a suitcase with some important things in front of Amy and the others.

Amy: WHAT?! You’re shutting down the Patrollers?!

Lilian: I only made this group so I can stop the Pink Craze. And now that it’s gone… What else is this group good for?

Amy: I can’t believe this! How could you throw away something so valuable to this city? You can’t just abandon it! It drew us closer together!

Lilian: Look, I know it means a lot to you… It means so much to me as well. But the city’s in peace again and there’s no point in being a patroller if no one’s in danger anymore.

Rouge: True. Unless you count the occasional robberies, gangbangers, and a high chance of Eggman trying to burn this city into dust.

Lilian: You’ve all done a wonderful job. And I love you all like you were my own children… But let’s face the facts. (She closes her suitcase.) The job’s done. There’s no point anymore.

Cream: But… But we WANT to be patrollers. There’s so much we still wanna do!

Cheese: Chao.

Rouge: Who cares if the Pink Craze’s not around anymore? That doesn’t mean we should let the boys take all the fun out of saving the day.

Sonic: Uh, we CAN hear you ya know.

Lilian: I’m sorry, girls. As much as I like to, I can’t. Who’s going to run the lab and monitor your progress when I’m not around?

Tails: Um… Well, since I seem to be the only smart one around here, maybe I should consid-!

Honey: (She steps up) Let me do it.

The group: Huh?

Tails: What?? But you don’t know how this whole lab works!

Honey: I know, but… Amy and her friends need support, and I don’t wanna leave them after what they’ve done for me.

Lilian: … … …

Cream: Ms. Lilian… If you leaving… Will you never come back?

Lilian: … … … (She sighs…) Patrollers?

The girls: Yes?

Lilian: Consider this a mandatory mission. Until I return I need you… to bring in more members. If you still wanna be patrollers you’re gonna need more than a team of three. Even if you have your boyfriends helping you.

Knuckles: Wait, what did she say??

Lilian: Bring in more members and I’ll consider keeping the Patrollers alive. But if you don’t, I may have to shut it down. Do you understand?

The girls: … (They salute) Ma’am, yes, ma’am!

Lilian: (To Honey) And Honey, I need you to help the Patrollers in any way possible AND… Keep my bookstore open.

Honey: Huh? Uh-! I mean-! Yes, ma’am!

Tails: Wait, when WILL you come back to Station Square?

Lilian: Oh trust me. You’ll know.

Sonic: Actually, we don’t. So thanks for that.

Amy: We won’t let you down, Ms. Lilian!

Lilian: (She seemed a bit hesitant but she smiles as she believes in them.) I know you won’t.

Amy: (Turns to her friends) Well girls, I guess our work’s not done yet!

Cream: We can do this together!

Rouge: Wouldn’t dream of it either way.

Amy: (She holds out her hand) When Station Square is in dismay…

The three girls: The Patrollers come and save the day!!

The next day, Lilian was away from Station Square. Amy comes out of her house and is adored by the new day as she runs over to Cream’s house!

Amy: Cream! Are you coming?

Cream: (She and Cheese look out their window) Hi, Ms. Amy! We’re on our way! (She closes the window and she and Cheese step out the front door to greet Amy!)

Later, the two meet up with Rouge by her apartment.

Rouge: Mornin’ ladies. You up for a Milkyway Café drink?

Amy: Likewise!

Sonic, Tails and Knuckles walk in.

Sonic: Morning, girls! Mind if we join you?

All of a sudden, their watches started beeping. After they answered the call, Honey appears on their screen.

Honey: (On screen) Girls! Eggman’s attacking the train station! You know what to do!

Amy: (They end the call.) Sorry boys. Duty calls! (They press the gold buttons on their watches and their uniforms activate!)

The three rush off to stop Eggman! All the while they run past several civilians who cheered for them! Big walks by with Froggy on his shoulder and waves to the patrollers. Sweetlove was window shopping at a fashion store and sees the girls through the glass’s reflection before waving to them. Sapphire was eating an ice cream and waves at the Patrollers passing by.

Amy: Here we come, Eggman! (Sonic suddenly runs alongside her!)

Sonic: Need a little help?

Rouge: Wouldn’t hurt to have. MUCH.

Tails: You know it!

Knuckles: How’d we get stuck in the BACK ROW??

Meanwhile, Eggman’s robots are attacking innocent people at the train station. He laughs evilly until he sees Sonic and the Patrollers heading straight towards him!

Amy: (They stood before him!) Stop right there, Eggman! Or we’re gonna hafta put you in your place!

Eggman: Fah! I’m not afraid of a bunch of little GIRLS! GET THEM!! (The robots turn their attention to the group!)

Amy: I knew you would say that. (To Sonic) You ready?

Sonic: You know it!

Amy: Station Square Patrollers!

The whole group: MOVE OUT!!!

And so it was that Amy Rose and her friends with their courage and compassion finally found their place as heroes of Station Square! Believing in themselves even when they were in doubt. But what will they face next? And who will join them to help patrol their city? It will all be in due time…
